Deleting your StayCraft account
Version 1 · Last updated: 7 October 2026
This page explains how to ask us to delete a StayCraft account, both for a business's website and admin and for the StayCraft app on Android, which uses the same account. It also says what we delete, what we keep, and for how long.
1. If you own a StayCraft site
- Email hello@staycraft.co.in from the email address you sign in with, and name your site (for example yourplace.staycraft.co.in). Ask for your account to be deleted.
- We confirm your request within 7 days, from that address only, so nobody else can delete your site.
- You then have 7 days to download a backup of your site under Backup & Restore in your admin, if you want one. After that, we delete your account.
2. If you work at a business on StayCraft
Your login belongs to the business you work for. Ask its owner to remove you under Settings → People, which deletes your login. You can also write to us at the address above.
3. What we delete
Your site and your admin, every login on it, and everything stored for it: rooms, rates, bookings, enquiries, guest records and the guest register, bills, reviews, pages, and photos and files you uploaded. Phones you used with the StayCraft app stop getting notifications.
4. What we keep
The invoices and payment records for your StayCraft subscription, for as long as Indian tax law requires us to keep them. Nothing else.
5. Backups
Our backups are kept for 35 days. Anything we delete is gone from them within 35 days of being deleted.
6. Your guests' details
If you were a guest of a business on StayCraft, ask that business to remove your details; its contact details are on its website and in your booking email. Our Privacy Policy explains your rights in full.
